A clear, respectful review of financial need.
An authorized parent, guardian, foster parent, or caregiver may apply for a child seeking an eligible YDL season. BAER uses the same objective process for every family.

Current gross household income is considered in relation to the number of adults and dependents.

A material reduction during the last 90 days can provide relevant current context.

BAER reviews one reasonable verification route and does not score the type of document selected.

No. YDL coaches and evaluators do not receive your application, status, tier or financial circumstances.
Is an award guaranteed?
No. Assistance depends on eligibility, documentation, program rules and available resources.
Is 80% a full scholarship?
No. Eighty percent is the highest standard YDL assistance tier. The remaining eligible balance is the family share.
Does assistance renew automatically?
No. Every award covers one YDL season. A new application is required for a later season.
